Protect Newly Installed Flooring During Renovation
Finishing a floor installation does not mean the floor is clear of renovation activity. Other work may continue in the same rooms, bringing tools, dust and foot traffic across the new surface. Temporary protection helps keep the flooring covered until the remaining work is complete.
Protection after installation
At Surian Residences in Mutiara Damansara, Novafloor Protection was laid over newly installed flooring while renovation continued. The photos show protection sheets covering the room floors, with joined sections and secured edges. This extra layer helps reduce exposure to scratches, stains and renovation debris.
When planning the sequence of work, allow time to cover the new floor soon after installation. Check which rooms and access paths will still be used, then keep the covering in place for as long as those areas remain part of the work site.
